National Anthem Exhibiting Financial Inclusion of PWDs in Pakistan
Having achieved unprecedented success with the production of "Pakistan's first Inclusive National Anthem", which premiered on the 14th of August 2022, and inspired by the SBP Policy on Financial Inclusion for Persons with Disabilities, we at Determined Pakistan are re-recording a new version of the Inclusive National Anthem for World Disability Day 2024, in order to celebrate and raise awareness of the progress made in financial inclusion of people with disabilities in Pakistan.
The basis of this initiative is the remarkable progress Pakistan has made in financial inclusion of persons with disabilities over the last two to three years. Through its Comprehensive Policy for Financial Inclusion of Persons with Disabilities (PWDs), the State Bank of Pakistan with the commitment of our financial institutions has made banking convenient and easy for PWDs by providing supportive physical infrastructure, accessible products and services, assistive technologies, and supportive employee interactions. Additionally, financial institutions have employed a considerable number of individuals with disabilities.
This new version of the National Anthem video will highlight the facilities and facilitations provided by banks and financial institutions. The Inclusive National Anthem will be promoted according to the attached plan following the Premiere on 2nd December at the “Finclusion Awards Ceremony” in Karachi.
